2002 Mazda Protege 5
i found the best present for myself... a turbo off a mazdaspeed protege... supposedly this msp got into an accident and it was a total write-off the back end was so distroyed i dont think the back seat passanger survived but the engine was in perfect condition... my condolences to the person that died but i pulled the turbo off this 2003 msp and its in extremely good condition.... now im gonna have fun throwing this bad boy in my protege 5... gotta love findings like these!!!

i also snagged that too... i could have takin the engine but that was expensive... but i grabbed acouple of goodies!

now all i need is an intercooler and my baby will definitely be my pride and joy compared to my last car... hahahah....

the guy who owns the shop gets cars from the cops or the family and he knows all the storys behind each car he has so while i was pulling the turbo out he was telling me the story kinda made me sick but i was thinking to myself get this turbo and manifold out so i can get the hell outta there...

i know the price is unbelievable but its one of those pull it urself he charges more if u tell him to pull it out for u.. so i did it myself... took me awhile...but eventually i got it...

Sweet deal, I remember when I got my turbo for my MX-6 of a junked MX-6 GT..25 dollars for turbo, and 20 for intercooler(boom04)

Grab the ECU S-pips and etc. Arent the P5 and MP3 ECU easier to use...meaning the Greddy E-manage actually works with it. The turbo is really insignificant...a rebuilt T25 can be had for about $100. What about the innercooler...if your going to use the MSP innercooler your going to have to grab the radiator and IC too. But the manifold, ECU and all other turbo components are pretty useful. What shape was then engine in? Hell...might as well grab the whole engine and do a complete swap. therefor if anything blows you have a backup FS-DE.

yea the turbo isnt such a good deal. you need all kinds of s*** i wouldnt be suprised if you had to shell out almost as much for that setup as an aftermarket turbo and only end up with 170 hp in the end anyhow.

very true and you could save it to sell to an msp owner when their turbo goes bad (evil)
