got a bubble in my tire....

went out to car today, noticed a bubble in my tire the size of a golf ball if not a little bigger.

These are my winter tires. It's too soon to put on the summers here so I'm f'd.

The bubble is on the side wall, just next to the rim

This is bad isn't it. No damage to tire otherwise.

I've never had a bubble like this before. I took out some air for now. If I can just last another week or two.....arg

Same thing happened to my Dunlops last year...had it replaced under warranty

carefull they warned me once they saw it that the tire could possibly blow out....

this happend to my dunlops 2 weeks after getting my car. i hit a nice size rock in the road (from a construction site) it was dark and by the time i saw it, it was too late. i didnt notice the buble for a few days though. They also warned me of a blow out. Dunlop split the cost of the tire with me. it was still like 130 installed.

hey I had one of those too but those dunlops lasted me what 15,000 miles. So I just rode it out until I got new ones. Now I'm on my 3rd set of tires.

I had a problem with my BF Goodrench Schorcers(probably spelled wrong) the ones with the color band. Had them on for 2 days and the bead didnt seal, ended up with 2 flats. then when got them to seat ended up with a bubble on the inside of the tire part that is in the fender well could not see. pulled out of the dealership got 3 blocks then blew out. that was fun.

IF U HAVE A BUBBLE DO Not ride on it!! it could blow out!!! get it fixed!

Oh well, guess the summers are going on soon then I thought.

Their 3 yrs old anyhow. And this was the last winter I was going to use them, but I never wanted to put the summers on until May.

Damn company I bought the tires off of are gone

It happend to two of my nitto's the first one sounds pretty close to what you described. But the second is in it's own category. Just take a look. It's much worse in person but I've gotten 32k miles out of it. Nitto will give me $50 credit towards a new tire.
