System Disabled due to poor outward visibility?

I have a 2022 CX-5 and get this error frequently at night. Makes my high beams pop on and just makes me crazy. Happens at least once a week sometimes several times a week. Usually only at night and it'll stay on for 30 minutes sometimes longer. 38000 Miles.

Have you tried using your front windshield defroster. I believe it's the forward sensor lens up at the top of the windshield that gets "fogged" with condensation and causes the error.

Quite likely.

On my own 2016.5 CX-5, if it's frosty on the windshield then I occasionally get such "visibility/cleaning" warnings regarding the sensor system. Though, I manually adjust the lighting on the stalk, instead of using the "auto" setting, so I don't have the lighting make adjustments by itself during such frosty conditions. The condition goes away once I clear off the upper/center part of the windshield that covers the sensors (cleaning or defrosting).

Yep. It happens. Very random event on our 21.

It's been better for me after using rainX on the glass around the sensors for helping to keep the area clean.
