I have to say I'm impressed. It's just a Sport, not too much on it, but it's a pretty solid little car. I'm not the minivan type, but this thing is impressive. I definitely underestimated it.

Coming from a MAZDASPEED6 owner is definitely a nice compliment :). Wait until you drive a Manual Tranny one and your car will feel like a Dodge Neon in comparison, LOL :p

Haha, I bet. I've put about 80 miles on it today and it was definitely the right choice. Yes, it's a far cry from the MS6, but it's still got that heart and soul that every Mazda I've driven has...and that's definitely a good thing.

That's pretty high praise - I think we all understand exactly what you are saying... it's a fun car to drive, and it really has that Mazda 'spirit'. :)

... and it's way more fun to drive than a Kia. :)

It had a lot of traits that reminded me of my Protege. It was nimble, had decent pickup, and generally fun to drive. I think if I owned one, I'd opt for some upgrades, but I think it can definitely be a solid DD for someone who needs the hauling/passenger space and capacity. My opinion has been completely swayed.

Now if C&D can finish their Mazdaspeed5 project...
