goddamn bugs!!!

back in santa barbara, there was a roach in my darkroom, so i poured some zippo fluid on it, then made a trail away from it. homie was big, i'd say about 2" long. he was up against a corner and didn't move, so i turned on the vent and lit that sucker. heh heh. it was cool with the lights out cause the roach was zooming all over the place leaving a nice little fire trail. the end.

You should see some of the roaches in the Philippines. Ugh. Some of them fly, too. Double Ugh. The worst one was the one that I had in my shoe from 11 in the morning until I took them off at midnight to find a BIG brown dead roach on my sock. Still gives me the creeps to this day thinking about it.
We got flyers in Texas too, haha. Not often but every once in a while they just hop up and then they're all up in your face. Godamn bastards.

I've found big roaches in my shoes twice in my life. Both times I felt them sliding around under my feet shortly after leaving the house, I take my shoe off to see what the deal is and a roach scurries away. Their backs are so smooth it felt almost worm-like and slimy under the arch of my foot.

I've woken to a roach crawling across my face. I swatted in the dark and heard it thump on the wall on the far side of the room.

The worst is when you are trying to sleep, and you can hear them munching on something, or their legs scraping against something. One night I kept hearing this metallic scraping. I finally flip on the lights and decide I wouldn't rest till I found it. It was a big sucker trying to climb up the side of a coke can. Rememer to keep your rooms clean folks.

When I was young, and my friends would come over for slumber parties, we had a favorite past-time at my house. When my parents went to bed, and we went upstairs, we would take a couple of the biggest butcher kinfes in the kitchen up to bed with us. We would wait maybe an hour or so after lights out, then creep downstairs, flip the kitchen lights on, and start hacking away, trying to get the dozens of roaches scurrying around. Haha, good times.
