Unsure at this point about availability of options. Also as mentioned above, the vendor still has to pull some strings to negotiate a bulk buy.
If anodized black is not available, would you be in "for sure" for a Natural Finish? If you are I will bump the GI count up one. If you're a "maybe" then that's cool too.
No pressure. BTW, incase anyone is wondering...I'd be paying the same as everyone else...probably more since I'm in canada. Still no word on extra shipping to Canada though.

Yeah you can count me in either way.
Counts up to 9. I think we have good numbers...its all up to the main-sponsor now.
Will keep the GI count going and let everyone know as soon as I hear back from our main-sponsor.

Looks like you need a solid rear motor mount and possibly some other small tweaking to make it work. I think I'm gonna stick to a 3.25...even if I had the the opportunity to buy a 3.0", I'd take it cuz I dont think I will ever swap the turbo and a 3" is still a drastic improvement to the stocker.
Still waiting on word from the main sponsor as to whether the manufacturer will sell bulk to him. Bulk sales were not a problem at one time but now that the product is hot, manufacturer does not have much incentive to sell bulk since they fly off the shelves themselves. I'm hoping he gives me good news tonight or tomorrow night (he usually corresponds by pm to me in the evenings).
Oh yeah, I'm sure they can easily satisfy the quantity of a GB...its just that their product is so in demand now they know it will sell without having to reduce prices, even for bulk buys. Unlike in the past when they gladly accepted bulk buys (so I'm told). Might suck for us in one respect, but the other side of the coin is this is a sign that ETS makes a quality product that everyone rates highly and wants. Since most of us will buy anyway (even if we do it solo), it means we'll all end up with a good product.
I'm still hopeful but one way or another, I'll get a TMIC so I'm not stressing. Saving some $ would be nice but that amount is not gonna make or break any of us...at least i hope not

SU has the ETS priced at $565 so worse case scenario you can always pick it up there. And you're right $55 is not going to break us and if it does then we have no business buying this in the first place.

some online sellors indicate on their page that 3.5" is discontinued. I think those that still have 3.5" on their site must have old stock.
So 3.5" may not even really be available anymore.
PS I didnt hear anything from our vendor last night. This GI will end saturday night as mentioned before. Like I said, I don't want to drag this GI out cuz everyone has their own plans anyway and I don't want to waste everyones time (as well as my own).

Thanks for keeping us posted. I'm quite happy with a 3.25, I don't plan to go bigger on the turbo, instead tune this thing and make more power with less boost. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Hope you don't mind me going public here...as I mentioned S**U** will offer a price of $535 per their TMIC shipped (48 states) for a minimum of 6 orders. If we reach 15 or more orders, the price will go down to $515 shipped. I have asked him to supply info on what the shipping surcharge would be for shipping to Canada.
I am not an expert in organizing GB's...just have dealt with Mark at S****U*** in the past and have been more than happy with my dealings with them.
I would imagine we need a protocol to order these things....from my involvement as a buyer in the past, I suggest individuals wanting to purchase a TMIC call S****U*** directly and place their order and ASSUME they will pay AT LEAST $535 and possibly $515 if order numbers reach tier 2. That amount obviously may be higher for shipping outside the cont. US but you will get that total.
If the total orders fail to reach 6 (unlikely), all bets are off and orders will not be shipped at these prices, no charges obviously or you can elect to call and purchase their TMIC at their MSRP (Mark might well give you a few $$ off that price anyway).
I think mentioning Mazda247 when calling to place the order will be MANDATORY to ensure S**U*** can track the number of discounted orders.
I too don't like these things dragging on..so shall we place a end date of Thursday, April 1, end of business (5PM EST) as to when S**U** shall stop receiving orders.

We have at least 6 people that are in for sure that I know of. If the $535 pricing is good with Mark, this will be a great group buy will definitely be a nice bit of change in the pocket.
