Gauge install question

(hand) I just ordered an A pillar with dual gauge pods, and the autometer guages that match ours. I ordered a boost/vacuum and a oil pressure gauge. (hah) I HAVE NEVER INSTALLED AN OIL PRESSURE GUAGE AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M GETTING INTO. Do I need to drain my oil and tap the oil pan? If so, is there a particular drill or tool I need? Help!!! (hand)

Did you buy a electrical or mechanical oil pressure gauge? You should do a search, both mechanical and electrical are covered.
