does anyone have this and do you like it? i was thinking about upgrading to this over my cobb sri. good choice or no? just looking for some input, thanks

if i do upgrade to this, anyone looking for a cobb sri+cobb turbo inlet

I haven't heard anything bad or good for the fujita.

I would say, if you're looking to upgrade from an SRI, Go with something really nice like the CP-E CAI.

But I say, just keep your SRI.

Agree on the CP-E CAI as a good choice. I don't know anything good or bad about the Fujita either.

Problem with less popular ones is that we don't have much dyno data, don't have much user experience or feedback, and don't know whether they play well with other mods, like an upgraded ECU and different mapping.

I prefer CAI's over SRI for our application. But that's a raging passionate debate with strong advocates on each side and no clear public opinion winner. Under most conditions, the difference between CAI and SRI performance is within the range of legitimate debate, although I think data suggest that a well designed CAI will do a bit better, especially when there is a significant difference between ambient air temps outside and ambient air temps under the hood. But that's just my personal view.

If you are looking at a CAI, another good option with good rep in the AEM CAI or the Mazdaspeed CAI (just a rebranded AEM), which is what I run. Lots of good info here on both the CP-E and the AEM/MSCAI with clear install instructions and lots of user satisfaction with both.

the Fujita is perfectly fine. it has given me no problems and it fits good with my turboxs fmic. i say go for it

yea i like it because im not looking to spend a whole lot and its like $216. also i was just looking over my intake temp. on my dashhawk and its pretty high so i was just feeling like i would upgrade to that and the PG turbo inlet

just ordered it and the PG inlet. maybe ill write a review or something since no one really knows alot about it

I had one for about a year until I got brand X inlet pipe which I upgraded to a PG inlet/intake. It was always a great CAI and I never had any problems or CELs or anything. The butt dyno loved it too. I mainly wanted to change out for ease of cleaning when it needs to be done. I also don't like CAIs because living in New England there is lots of weather. I have to drive my MS3 year around and I felt it was like a big straw just waiting to suck up rain water or winter slush and **** up my engine.

Yeah...weather you like it or not it sucks most of the year...lol

Also...the Fujita was a very good fit with a pretty straight foward install. It comes with good directions too if I remember right. Don't bother removing the bumper to install it. Just go in through the wheel well.
