Fuel Pump Problem

I bought my MSP back in December and I live in northern Virginia. It has been rather cold since I've bought it and well about 2 weeks ago it got up to 70 degrees. When it was that warm for a couple of days i noticed that the fuel pump was making a very loud noise while the car was on. After the couple of days the temps got cooler again and the noise went away so I thought nothing of it. Well this morning it was 74 degrees and when i got to work i noticed that the fuel pump was making the same noise.

Is this a normal fuel pump noise or do I need to replace mine? Right now I have a CAI, Unichip on high boost, 2.5" downpipe, and a exhaust on the way. I will also be looking into a FMIC very soon. Should i go ahead and purchase a new fuel pump supporting these mods?

thanks
