fs-ze or fs-de?

If i was to swap for the fs-ze motor, would i be able to change piston and rods later and turbo the car or would it be wiser just to get the stock motor and turbo that?

the high compression of the fs-ze makes it unsuitable for boost. if you need an engine or help with one, please PM me

Would it be financialy cheaper to bulid-up a FS-ZE from a FS-DE ?
Or the best bet is to bulid a "FS-DET" ?

Best bang for the buck is turbo.

If you're going NA, you can build an engine better than the FSZE with the right pistons, rods and cams... make more peak power at lower rpms. ;) Without a standalone ECU, there's no way you can take advantage of the FSZE's higher redline.

About 7k to 7.5k, I believe. Peak power is around 6800rpm, just 300 rpm above cut-off on the regular FS-DE.
