what rims are those?
The thought of having an older RX7 that is in nearly (or what we think) perfect condition is just too appealing - I don't care if it's a TII or not. Personally I've always liked the FCs better (though I wouldn't turn down an FD) so this is almost a win-win situation for me, if I could ever go through with the deal (my P5 doesn't seem to really fit the "family" car the OP is referring to and I don't have $3000 lying around for a third vehicle). I'd love to pick this up and throw the whole Racing Beat catalog on it and just have fun. Keep it in great condition and hold onto it for a long time.what the heck? why is everybody offering up there proteges for this car? i didnt know rx7s were in such high demand..
lolthrow the whole Racing Beat catalog on it

EDIT: To the OP, do you have any pictures of the interior/engine bay to confirm the condition?
Haha, I think my car is worth a little more than $3k. The lowest I would go for my car would be like $6k with a trade (eg, this RX7 + $3k).I'd be temtped to give you 3 k for your car so you could buy this
Well poop, I hope that's not the case. Sorry, my '02 P5 with 71k miles is worth much more than $3k without all the aftermarket stuff (like that adds value anyway).LOL.. I don't think he wants to put money with it, he wants even trade or cash his way..
I think this goes without saying... your car has 15 years of depreciation on the newest protege... value of an FC will change very little, where the proteges still have a ways to fall. lolin a few years a nice FC will be worth way more than a Protege.
Still, in "poor" condition my P5 is worth $6k with the mileage it has on it now. Depending on the buyer, the aftermarket modifications might depreciate it some but not to the point where it's only worth $3k. The N/A FC's aren't collector cars just yet and you can't really bump up the price on what you *think* the car will be worth in a few years. Sure in a few years they might be worth more (and that is what I am counting on) but you're selling it now and you have to use today's prices (isn't this how the housing market got in trouble anyway?). You're asking price is more than fair, but an equal trade is not.I am totally open to an equal trade for a P5. I could even throw in a little money from my side. I don't care what anybody says on this forum, but in a few years a nice FC will be worth way more than a Protege.
Zanesville, is about 45 minutes east of Columbus. So if your interested, let me know. Thanks.
your car isn't "retail" at all. You're not a dealer... I think you need to come down a bit unless you're going to compare against the same source for your trade offers. Here you go:
High retail is $4,900
My car is not perfect high retail, it does have some flaws, so I estimated the value about $4,000
