mine is correctable, is there a site for CHP locations? Do I go up to a cop and say "look I took it off now sign it?" LOL I thought I was supposed to go to the courthouse and show it there..

you are lucky. You can either pay $15 at the LA sheriff Department or find the nearest CHP office and they will do it for free. Keep in mind that CHP office only open 9-4:30 M-F (some even open later and close earlier) and LASD opens 24 hours (that's why I did mine with them).

Once you got your correction signed off, send it in to the court along with $10.00 processing fee. If you get your ticket in LA, I think on your ticket you will see the address
