Front End Clunk?

Is anyone else having a problem with a clunking noise coming from the front it? Everytime I turn hard, or hit a bump turning I get a loud clunk from my front end. Could this be the same problem as with the rear end? Or could this be something else? I'm thinking and hoping its the front sway bushings.
Curious to know if anyone has had or is having this annoying!!! problem... and if so what is it, and what should be done to fix it.

i have a clicking sound coming from the driver front side when i turn if that helps =)

My guess is that the swaybar bushings are shot and so there is alot of movement and the bar is actually hitting the lower control arm.

Your clicking is either a loose backing plate on the pads or your wheel bearing(s) are going bad.

Usually a clicking when turning is from a CV shaft going out.


And as far as the front clunk, my car started doing it too, and no its not the endlink. At least not in my car, since i put on a new one and it still does it.

If you think it may be your CV joints, drive the car in a parking lot at slow speed in a figure 8. If you hear the clunking noise, or it gets worse with this manuever, your CV joints are bad. Left turn=left cv, right turn=right cv

AznXstazy: Is that a continous clicking? LIke say every second... or more of a sharp long and loud clunk.

Need to also clarify...lol... CLICK AND CLUNK... two different types of noises..lol. Careful not to interchange.

he could be referring to the rear end clunk. I had the clicking when i first got the car cuz i would just take off like a bat outta hell, but then i stopped being a fuckass. and teh clicking left

nope... this is definetly coming from the front end.

Man us MP3s are constantly getting new clunks everywhere. I just did my motor mount and get a loud crack sound when pulling out in 1st. W/e your clunk/click is i hope its not your CV joints. $$$ If I knew more i would try to help but i think most of the guys up top know what their talking about.

I get that noise too. On my last service the dealership tracked the noise down to the rack and pinion assembly. They said it's nothing to worry about, but if you still have warranty get it replaced.

i dont get any clunk noises, just squeeks. everytime i hit a penny on the road the front of the car squeeks. Im guessing its my springs/shocks since they have 80,000 miles on them
