No i dont go that high i go to like 6500 maybe . Rpm max is like 6696 i think . Thats what is weird about the datalog . Everything seems to be off real bad. Why is that . I mean rpm is off a/f is off bad . So i will go out tomorrow and see if addinf fuel will stop it. I really think thats not it. Plugs looked ok alittle black accutally and The grounding strap look ok . Maybe alitlle green brozish . Its crazy because this was a radom weather related prob and now its gotten worse so somethin is going on at 5000 rpm range . Pulls like a mofo 1st 2 nd and 3rd until that .

What else could be going . The setup has been the same for me Just addin numbers for extra injectors . This all started month or so ago with weather change and has gotten worse over the past week . Is the ecu trying its sneaky s*** or something . I havent reset or add any relearning issues .

If they don't work, try to lower the fuel upper limit. This may have something to do with it. Is it colder then before? Try the upper limit thing after the others, so you can narrow things out. I would take it down .10 at a time to about 4.5 max and if it doesn't work, then put it back. Now make sure you add fuel when you do it because you will not be getting the same amount of fuel out of the stock injectors when you do it. Just save your map and add increments of 5's or 10's to the xtra injectors so give fuel. This isn't a fine tuning process, so a little more fuel won't hurt. If all fails, then use the other map, no need to reset the ECU.

is there a ems that is smart enough or adaptive so that after you tune it the ems would be able to change the fuel amount sent to the engine to keep the air fuel ratio inside the range you selected when needed? Like if you where to take a trip and you had to pass through some high mountains or drive through a lower elevation than where you tuned it. i been wondering about this cause that would take out a lot of the trouble of having to re-tune it all the the time for the long trips, vacations or just when moving to another location.

The MPI has the capabilities to do this, but it will never be exact. I would say that MPNick would have to answer this one as I do not know about it. Not sure if we can do it or not.

T5hanks Bigg Timm Lower the upper limit to 4.64 Added mad fuel got a fireball back fire . That s*** was cool . Buddy was behind me and said it was crazy to see that . I had him follow me just incase I went boom boom club. But yea that was it . Upper limit lowered and added the fuel Need to trim it out some getting 11.6 up top now . Iam still smelling alittle coolant so iam doing a compression test in ac ouple of days . Mine has always had that smell though . Thanks Nick for helping too . Back to (deadhorse on her . (thumb)

Thanks Terbow I forgot about you . Yoy helped too . Thanks Man Car feels good again. Its rich now Need to tune out some alittle .

Good to hear. I'm guessing it's because of the cooler air. What boost are you running? I thought it was like 12psi?? It must be an MSP thing becasue I always have had mine at 4.98, but then again I have only run 8psi, so who knows for sure.

G

About 11 1/2 psi . Need to get it leaned out alittle I have a 11.6 now up top .Feels good but i liked the 12.2 12.3 a/f range. I may come down to 12.1 12.0 for the winter . I still beleive this car is stronger than everyone makes it to be .

Long time Rich Mna whats been going on. Yea iam impressed with the motor for sure . s*** ive seen 12.9 13s a/f and didnt skip a beat. At this point i know it could go at any time but I still think its stronger than people make it. tUNNING MAKES A WORLS OF DIFFERENCE FOR SURE . hELL I MAY PUT SOME RACE GAS IN AND TAKE HER UP TO 15 PSI .

Just don't put slicks on.

Indeed... also, keep in mind that the higher octane gas will make you run a little leaner than you would on normal gas on the same tune. I saw between a half point and a full point leaner when I first started running the 101 fuel. Get it running a little fatter than you want it before you bump up the boost and add the high octane stuff.

WHY You scared iam going beat your time. This car is moving for sure now. Waiting on some track time and drags or slicks . I may make some spring spacers too.

Actually I am disappointed only one Msp is faster so far.
