Freaking LOUD!!!

So I just finished changing the front brake pads on my MS3 (stock ones lasted 30K.. not bad!!) and I bought a "barely used" set of pads from one of the members here...

The pads are the Hawk Plus and I know they are great but damnnnn they are LOUD!!! I could tolerate some noise here and there but this is just waaay too much... for a DD car.

I am used to "street/track" pads as I have used this dual setup in the past. Very familiar to Axxiss Ultimate, Carbotech and even EBC.

Any suggestions? Are there any ways to quiet them down a bit? and I am sure you all have seen this question, but which one will really fit the dual purpose yet stay relatively quiet?

Like squeeking? Did you seat the pads after install?

Try driving with carbotech track pads. I sound like a school bus all the time. HP+ are not super bad, just break them in correctly. They will squeal alittle.

Yes!! squeeking very loud when I hit the brakes. I did a "proper" bedding ... so good that I even manage to closely lock the brakes. Yes, these brake pads are awesome but I don't think I can live with the squeeking...

Should I remove the pads, sand them, put grease in the back and install them again?

Not sure if sanding's gonna help. A little bit more grease on the backing plate never hurts.

performance pads normally squeal alot
but i have EBC greenstuff pads and i have no squealing at all, no grease on the backs or anything
they never squealed as far as i remember, ive had them for a while now, 2 sets
