For Sale issues with yellow pro5 (anyone affected please post in here!)

Hey guys, I sent Yellow Pro5 a check for lover $200 for sonme parts for my P5over 2 months ago, and i still have not got the parts, and he keeps giving me excusues after excuses?

Any of you guys have any problems with this guy?? his name is Zach?

I asked him if he had a paypal account and he told me no, so i sent him a business check, come to find out I know he just purchased some parts of a few members with his paypal account?

I trusted him and now im getting screwed?

every now and then he responds and he assured me that my parts were going out today and that i would have tracking #'s pm'd to me but I got nothing?

any and all help would be appreciated. I am going to go to my bank this week and see if i can recover my funds, and then i am going to try and see what other options i have criminally.

I hate when you put your trust in someone, and they just take your money.

I have been a member on many forums and have never had a problem, this is a first.

I got one part, and another member recived his radio, so i may wait until Tuesday morning before i go to the police.

He is telling me that he shipped the larger items USPS i assume, and i should have them by monday or tuesday, but again i have no tracking #'s

bulls***. I thought you agreed on Greyhound? Don't settle for anything other than something you can keep as a record. This guy is full of s***.

thanx for all your help, guys i did got one part , so i kinda want to give the guy until Tuesday morning. But again this is ridiculous.

And also i beleive USPS will ship packages up to 130 inches lenth + girth which is petty large, the rear bumper is a bit flexible as well. I am hoping for the best, but i will contact the authorities Tuesday.

this guy... has a job and is in school or whatever he says.. i.e. he works long hours... blah blah blah, aparently he has a settled life in some town and even has a criminal record.. he is not leaving per say on a run away trip for not sending some items sold online.

now I got a few questions...

#1 has a police report been created? ( this is a VERY important timely thing to have done.. like many others have said ASAP. rahter further action is posted or not.. this should be done to make them aware.. if it hasn't been done already )

#2 has the banks involved been notified of this issue? ( and also the police report IF there is one involved yet, it might be needed to get some fundage back )

#3 if you have contacted the police, ups, usps, greyhound... why havent you called the bank or have you? again informing them of this could be very important.. by the sounds of it this dude has a bad past.. not like a murderer.. but passing bad checks... and you did send him a check with your routing number and account number.. so. ya never know.. just an idea..

#4 have you printed out all your messages, PM's chat logs and such to have them as a hard copy so when you go to court you have them. it isnt like he is going to hack into your account or the server and delete everything but ya never know. plus IF you plan on taking him to court you will need them anyways.



yes I do realize it isnt the point of getting the money back but the parts this dude said that he was sending and that were paid for, Hell even in my busy schedual I ATLEAST keep the buyer informed of what is going on and that im workin on it, and as soon as the shipment leaves i post a tracking number

And if you want to contact authorities, I would asuggest you skip Dayton PD all together as hes not in Dayton and go to this instead. Again, to those of you who don't know, ForceFed has been helping by providing more detailed info on the situation, and trying to provide legal avenues, as well as offer up his own time to get things shipped out. I don't think anyone else who's spouted off has offered to help in the way he has, so back off.

Not a useless post at all. I'm sure the topic of the bank was mentioned before, but it seems like after 2 months that there wouldn't be much control over the situation. If it had just happened, a stop payment on the checks could be issued, but if he's cashed them, I think he's stuck.


Here's an update: 3 of the 4 members are still awaiting parts. One has recieved one of the five packages that were promised, and the seller hasn't been on since 11/30 to reply to any of this. He can't provide legit tracking info, or reply to any mod requests to move this forward. I also don't think that he's contacted ForceFed on his offer to ship it out for him, so we're still in a bit of limbo. Police action may be soon to come, but that's all I know at this point.

I'm also going to say this: any further smartass comments about the situation and/or members in this thread will be issued infractions. You've been warned twice. If you can't control keyboard diarrhea while in this thread, go find something else to do.I will also be cleaning up the nonsense that transpired last night.

Bam. I made that FBI suggestion first. I also believe I was the first one to recommend getting any agency of law enforcement. So don't say that I didn't contribute anything useful.

Also you have to fill out a shitload of paperwork and pay some fees before you find out what any of his legal issues were pertaining to. And usually that information is mailed to you, generally they'll say two weeks (to compile and send out the information). Unless he got is records sealed, then you'll never know.

Like I mentioned before the mod deleted everything instead of just the pointless stuff, gather your pm logs along with everyone else that had an issue. File a police report or contact the FBI division of Cybercrime. Or both. Generally if you have all the information/evidence, the FBI will take a look into the case (because you've already done most of the work). Don't even bother taking him to court yourself or without the help of law enforcement. The judge can order he pay you back, but he really doesn't have to. And for anything under $1,000, usually the court will just issue a decision but not follow up on it. Basically he'll be scolded and demanded of to pay you back, but that's it. He won't have to because no one will check up on it.

And no doubt Forcefed is a good guy. He's a ******* wonderful guy for helping out someone in the way he has especially when they've only met on the internet.

But be reasonable mod, you can't expect all of us to lend a hand in the way he has. Though we want to help, we may not be as convenient in a location as forcefed is. I'm sure everyone posting here wants to help. but are not in any position to. You can't compare us to forcefed. That's just irrational.

I would also like to point out that YES court records are public, however the only way they might help in this case is if the matter is hibitual.... otherwise the judge that would be reviewing the case wouldnt pay them that much attention..

as for the bank issue... he might wanna warn his bank that some guy has his info and to place a security watch ( this might already do it now ) on his account so if this guy is a bad type person, he isnt able to steal his hard earned cash... my bank calls me if i spend over 300... for example...

Problem is, everyone who can't do ANYTHING is spouting off in here. I'm merely facilitating communication between buyer and seller, nothing more. You come in here spouting off about the mods, go check out the other sections I mod in, I'm not a 'uptight online cop', I just don't deal with nonsense. continuing the stuff about court - i dont know if forcefed got docket numbers, but if he did, i still think they would come in handy during the investigation. and i know some municipalities have ways to retrieve court dockets online, but i doubt its the majority. otherwise yeah its usually a few dollars (25? 35?) to get a case pulled and a copy made.

I have contacted him and have told him if i dont get my parts or a refund in my paypal account by friday that i will go straight to the police, which i will. i have also contacted the other members waiting on there parts and they should be doing the same.

I have been in your exact situation before. With a $650 LSD from l2eedy on this forum (search away) And once it became painfully obvious I was getting scammed (like it is in your case) I took matters into my own hands. Face it man, the one part he sent you was just to buy himself some time by giving you false hope, and keeping people on the forum pacified. The rest of your parts aren't coming, and you need to realize that. From all the info you've posted, all he's doing is jerking your chain, "promising" tracking numbers, etc and lying about basically everything.

Seriously, just smell the beans for a second. You've been had and all you got for your hundreds of dollars was an upper intake piece. At this point you shouldnt even be thinking about still getting the parts. Lets' say that for a second he does have everything, and is actually intending to send it to you. Tel lhim you no longer want it, just your money back. There's LOTS more parts where those came from, don't be so obsessed with getting these peticular ones. Then, there's no reason he can't refund your money instantly. If he doesn't do that even, time for you to collect what's yours. The money I mean, stop thinking you're ever gonna see those parts. The sooner you do that, the better off you'll be.
