Looks alot better than the buck tooth.

I know very little about FI cars, but I heard that piping with 90 degree angles isn't the most efficient. Was that the only possilbe route for the piping?

It's not really the fact that 90 degree angles are not efficient...it's really the total degrees of bending throughout the entire piping...which this kit is actually quite good at. The piping is as short as it can be using the stock turbo location.

awww, but you got rid of that cute little one...pffft, looks a lot better man, and it performs like it looks, so sweet.

16 HP?

Looks great man, who makes that kit? I love the car.

Yup, 16HP....and that is actually very conservative, because the stock run was the very first run, while the stock intercooler was still cold.

CustomMSP makes that kit :)

Looks good, Justin!

Man, every time I see a stock Mazda IC next to an aftermarket one .. it just makes my head hurt.

Edit: I honestly can't remember what the MSM looks like stock -- was there a grill insert in the bumper that you removed after you mounted the IC? If so, can I see some before/after comparison pics? :D

177 in that lil thing .. i bet it moves .... nice car

She's fairly quick. It feels a tiny bit faster than my MSP with CAI / hardpipes / 2.5" catted downpipe / 9psi, which ran a 14.6 @ 98. I might take the MSM to the track before the season ends.
