first oil change

so i did my first oil change tonight. i wasn;t able to change it when i wanted so i did it at 3000.
so when i was draining the old oil the drain plug went in to the old oil. i fished it out but realized after i reinstalled it, changed the filter, and replaced the oil that i failed to replace the washer.
i see no oil leaking now but i'm freaking out. should i scrap the mobile1 i just put in and start over or can it go with out until the next oil change??????

i changed it at my father's house because i have no where to do it. i just got home and i noticed something on the pavement it looks wet but i can't tell if its from me. i live in a townhouse so plenty of other people.
either way i'm going to go look again. i'm just nervous

Did you at least reuse the old washer? I'd crawl back underneath and see if you're leaking from the drain plug. If not, keep an eye on your oil level, and if you notice it drop, redo the oil change. Shouldn't need to replace the filter this early after an oil change.

no i didn;t use the washer.
that's what i was saying. after reinstalled the plastic air dam under the car and filled the oil i noticed the washer sitting in the dirty oil.
i know i can reuse the current oil it was 11pm last night when i finished changing the oil.
it's a 20-30 min drive from my parents to my house and i checked my oil when i got home and it was good.
