2016 CX-5 seems to be sluggish after recent oil change

No way are those the plugs you changed at 75k. I changed my plugs in the 2018, which were Mazda Branded, at 116,000km (close to 75k) and they were in better shape than those. Could have screwed up the coil packs or loosened a wire somewhere though you would expect a code.
They were trying to scam me. I just declined everything they suggested including throttle body cleanup and Fuel system cleaning. I drove the car in the evening today and it seemed a little better, but I am still taking it in on Friday.

Maybe they reset something and maybe there is some re-learn on like the transmission or something else?

I run 5w-30 Pennzoil Ultra Platinum.

There's no way you will feel any difference in performance.

Check the throttle cable in the engine compartment. It's slightly possible they moved it, and it is binding.
Is there a throttle cable on these cars? Or is it the drive by wire type?

I'd love to hear what this dealership has to say about the plugs in the pic being different than the plugs in your CX! Can I go along with you? Please? lol

Show them the pic and watch them squirm. Can you take your go pro along and record it for us?

Care to name this dealer so that other forum members in the area get a heads up?

I actually found the email with the inspection results where you click on the link under spark plugs recommended and it shows the picture (attached). I doubt those plugs are mine. I had them changed out at 75k with the NGKs for Mazda.
Those are not your plugs., no way no how. They just found some random old plugs and took the pic, figuring you would be none the wiser.
They were trying to scam you....end of story.
I expect to see this sort of thing from shady independent shops, but when a Mazda dealer tries to do this, they need to be reported to Mazda Corporate. I would also write a nasty google review.
I can guarantee you these guys will do some sort of dance and try to get away with it with some sort of bribe, like a free oil change or other such thing.
Do not let these guys off the hook.
Keep us posted.
PS. turn on your phone and record the conversation.

I am curious to see what they say tomorrow.

I can hear it now.

Oh sir, we are SO sorry!

Somehow our tech got the pics mixed up on his phone and we sent you the wrong pics. It seems that your pics were accidentally deleted, so we can't show you those.

But listen, the next time you need it, how's a free oil change and tire rotation sound? You know, just to try and make it up to you?

Good, when can we schedule you in?

I went there this morning, and they said the oil was a little over the max but nothing to worry about. I told them about the spark plugs and to check to make sure all of them are installed properly and connections are good. They took them out in front of me and carefully put them in again. They didn't complain about the plugs.

I told the service advisor I changed those plugs at 75k and it's too soon to recommend plugs. He asked whether I used Mazda plugs. I told I used the NGKs that are recommended for the car. He just kept quiet. Not much to say. They said everything seemed fine.

He said we recommended you the throttle body cleaning and fuel system cleaning and you declined.

Can I just use some chevron Techron for the fuel system cleaning?

For cleaning the fuel system and especially the injectors I think that Techron is considered about the best so it's probably what the dealer might use.

As far as the throttle body, I don't know how to tell how necessary it is. I might guess that the environment the engine is run in might be a factor. I think when there is enough build up around the butterfly flap valve to affect it's operation the cleaning is a good thing.
