fewest miles on one tank of gas? :)

The least Ive ever gotten was like 220, I also had 87 octane and did a lot of stop and go city driving. The highest Ive ever gotten was 283 with 93 octane, a lot of stop and go city mixed with a lil bit of highway/back road crazy driving.

My new all time low.....163 out of one tank. I think dinosaurs rolled over in their graves (drinks)

why you bough turbo car to drive it like a granny in 2.0 toyota corolla ?? this how it accelerate if not hitting bost....

Haha! I certainly don't drive mine like a Toyota Corolla. I get to work about 5 minutes sooner than I use to when I had a 07 civic si.

If I really tried I bet I could go thru an entire tank (14.5 gallons) in 90miles on the fast (laugh)

exactly normal person is not buying sports car to save on the gas

Not true. I guess it depends on what you consider a "sports car", but the MS3 is somewhat of an economy wagon that happens to have a alot of power. Take the turbo off of it and what do you have? An $18k economy wagon. If one were buying a Ferrari F430 or Porsche Carrera GT, conserving gas would probably be the least of their concerns, but we're talking about a $22k wagon here. I'd like to be able to haul the bacon when I need to, but this car has done as well as it has because of practicality and I think good gas mileage should be one of its strong points. Nothing wrong with driving cilivized every once and a while! :)

You're talking like it's just a bolt-on turbo special and nothing more.
So you think that the Mazdaspeed3 is just a Mazda3 with a turbo?
Try just bolting on a K04 to a regular Mazda3 and see what happens...

88 miles thats when the light came on and it hickuped... It was on the track I was getting about 8 mpg..

Got to love a guy that drives the car the way it was meant to be driven (alright) I bet you really enjoyed those 88 miles of spirited driving! I pity those that are getting 300miles a tank because those must is some pretty boring miles. Personally, I’m getting around 200 miles between fill ups which is roughly 12 gallons. Not the best MPG but I sure am having a lot of fun!

I do average about 19mpg's when I drive on the street. I don't do much driving on the street because I live where I work.
