That's not the movie car. SCC did a test on the cars, and I am looking at pics of the engine bay... not the same. The trio of CF bottles is the same, as is the rest of the interior and most of the exterior (excluding color). But the engine is not the same at all, and it pulled a 14.1 @ 101 on the test strip.

I don't know Rich, according to the article it is. But, you can tell that article was written well before the release of the movie. They could have decided to go with a different car or multiple cars. Hard to say.

I know there was a butt ton of pink S2Ks, purple Eclipses and a pretty good amount of Evos used. I'm not sure about how many Skylines they had on set. I'll see if I can find that article SCC ran on the cars of 2F2F.

Devon Aoki. I didn't really think she was that hot, but her body was fun to look at. As for acting skills. She posseses none. She was a model in New York and was cast because she resembles a live anime girl. Doesn't hurt that her father is loaded. I guess he owns a lot of the top restraunts in NY and that gives him a lot of pull in the modeling scene. (scratch)

they built a bunch of skylines for the movie, all based off lieberman's that the article is about. if all they were planning to do with the car is crash it, there's no need to put all that stuff in. the one scc tested wasn't lieberman's car i'm pretty sure, i think it was rwd, probably no nitrous, and probably beat on by actors who can't drive and was in need of a tune up.

Actually, the green Eclipse was the uber-rare seven-gear edition.

That little foible is the least of their worries. My favorite is when the young kid (Jessie?) acts surprised and impressed when they pop the hood and the stock engine is in there:

Both movies epitomize what is wrong with the import tuning culture. I have a hard time even accepting these movies for what they are - crappy action movies with horrible acting. I just can't get past the fact that these movies have pushed the ricer culture even further along, and now you see even crazier stupid body kits on slow elantras, neons and tercels. All in all, these movies should be collected and burned.
