i dont know the guy ... but id rather have an engineer from HKS or something like that rather than a guy who owns a wheel company no ?

but i dont know him, maybe he knows his stuff.

the double clutching part pissed me off just like the ellingson (sp?) supercomputer did with it's huge weird keyboard and 3d graphics .... lol

maybe one day, they'll make ONE movie with accurate info. Hey, maybe we should make our own movie ? only mazdas
Yeah, RJ knows his s***. He was a street racer way before it was "cool" to be a street racer and he has become a pretty big player in the import scene. As Kyle said, he's a guy I would have no problems trading live's with. (I believe the black S2K, minus the graphics, in the first F&F was one of his personal cars.)

As for an accurate movie comng out of Hollywood, I definitely wouldn't hold my breath on that one. :D

It was Liebermans fault, he was technical director. He alone has led the ricer evolution!!!!!!! Ill admit the guy has nice rides(some of them) and he may be a nice guy, but he is the one who decided to rice the movie out, especially the second one.

No doubt, I want to strangle the guy every time I see him interviewed. He constantly says things about cars that aren't even true. For instance I saw some build up he was doing and he was talking about how Nitrous works and he explained it all wrong. I'm sure the guy knows how s*** works, but he can't even explain it right.

I agree he had some sweet rides, but he rices them out horribly. Makes me wonder if he is also the technical advisor for West Coast Customs. lol. Two of his more famous rides were the Orange Supra from the first movie and the Skyline from the second. Both were sweet ass cars until he got a hold of them. "Man, I've got two of the sweetest cars Japan has ever produced. Now, how many APC stickers can I fit on them?" (dark)

The first one was a dumb movie, but fun. Once you forgive the horrendous technical inaccuracies (how many kids tried to "double clutch" after this flick), wooden acting, and the fact that the ENTIRE plot was stolen from Point Break, the movie is enjoyable. The stunts are pretty damn good.

The second one was the first movie I ever sat down to watch were I was actually insulted that I was expected to believe the crap that was on the screen. There was so much bulls*** in this flick, and much of it not even regarding the cars. Who gets punched in the face and has nothing to show for it? Not to mention that the bridge jump would kill a normal human (no stunt man would do it, so they put a dummy in there).

I don't mind suspension of disbelief, but when I'm saying "c'mon!" every thirty seconds, I draw the line.

yea i felt that way too, the 1st one had the better race scenes, but the acting sucked( Vin Diesel should be shot), but the 2nd was tolerable as a cop movie, nuthin else. The race scenes were overdone, and the beginning looked cool til they showed all the girls..cmon where do girls actually go out dressed in schoolgirl outfits ?!?! (lol2) I know I live in a conservative area but that is too hard to believe...unles I really really need to move to Miami .....(moon)

the only thing I liked about the first FF movie was....The Soundtrack!
The second one was a little better then that first one. To me the only thing that saved the movie was Tyrese ass acting like a damn fool. And who in the hell matched up the cars?? A damn Spyder and an Evo for the leading actors. WTF! Evo ok, Spyder...NO! Atleast give the other one a WRX, SRT or anything BETTER then the spyder. Then they had the nerve to destroy that beautiful Skyline. Man **** that! Come to think about it..Both Movies SUCKED ASS!!! (fu)(pissed)(rant):flip:

I like both but each movie had some unrealistic moments in it.The writing on part 2 was gay i.e "Shut up!" "you shut up!",although it had the delicious Eva Mendes(oh baby!).Cars in both movies were pretty cool, over the top but still cool!!Can't wait for # 3!!

he had a spyder cuz Mistubishi was kinda sponsoring the movie =\

yea the 2nd one was kinda eat up by sponsors..I like the Year One tags on the Dodge 4x4s and inside the tuner shop, did they even know it was a company specializing in vintage American cars?/ lol

I saw on the net that hey were already in preproduction in FF3, supposedly it has Vin Diesel (jerkit) again, and set in Japan among the street racing scene there.............wow (screwy)

well... I heard they eat a lot of RICE in japan.. so maybe the movie will be different this time around... we'll like it and the masses will hate it

If eva mendes is what you liked about FF2, check out training day. There is a scene near the end where you get to see a few nude shots of her. :D

could be good ... id love to see Vin Diesel speak japanese

i saw Schwartzenneger dubbed in Spanish while i was in Spain last year ... Big Arny with a machine gun and a tiny spanish voice .. priceless

Yea, I saw Training Day as well as ALL of Eva.Very, very nice(on both counts)!!

I dont like them mainly because of the bad wrap it gives people who try to hook up their cars. Cops are dicks thinking everyone with a hooked up car (or remotely hooked up) wants to street race and start trouble. Its also opened up the ideal of 'ricing' out cars to every punk idiot who really drives like an asshole and tries to prove themselves with the infamous ricer fly-by. From a movie stand point Ive only seen the first one...did anyone else relise that in the beginning the eclipse shifts way too many times? It wasnt realistic (to me) but it was entertaining. A lot of people I know are in the second one so I might have to bring myself to watch it. But Im going to admit Vin Diesel did it for me. I dont need any smart ass remarks about that either.

Eva's also very good in Out of Time with Densel Washington (2thumbs)
