Extended warranty

I've done a lot of research on this as my 5 is nearing 25k miles and the plans are cheapest if you buy before then. The website you mentioned DOES NOT SELL Mazda Extended Protection Plans (MEPPs) anymore. Morande Auto Group IS NO LONGER a Mazda dealer. Google them and you'll see they only sell Fords and Acuras. They sell a third party plan (http://www.easycare.com/about-us).

This site http://www.mazdawarranties.com/ still sells MEPPs. You have to call them but their prices, at least for the 5, are pretty similar to what you see on the site that does not sell them anymore.

I decided to roll the dice and not buy the warranty but YMMV.

Good luck!

Yea they forgot to update their site (the Ford one) but that's where I got my warranty from... I guess they split now that Mazda is not owned by Ford anymore.

Make sure to compare prices with Mazda's extended plan before purchasing. When I bought my 2007, the dealer wanted to sell me a warranty from a 3rd party. I was burned on one of those previously, so I declined and asked about the Mazda plan. I was assured it would be much more expensive, however it ended up being nearly $300 less for more coverage.
