exhaust systems

i'm looking to buy a mid-pipe and cat back exhaust. i've only put an intake in my car so far. i understand that a exhaust swop is a one of the first things you should do. i've been looking at mam mid-pipe and either an greddy sp2 or the perrin exhaust. what do you guys think and do you have any other suggestions.

maybe getting it custom done would be cheaper, because you'll get the same sound if you use a greddy muffler on a custom piping job, I have a custom ravin and it sounds incredible

I had an SP2 and they sound nice. I like the way my vibrant sounds alot more though. Plus it gave me 30 horsepower to the wheels at redline.

Vibrant performance all the way. Great look, great sound, great gain, great product.

You can go to *************.com or just PM JDM Sam on the site and tell him I sent you.

GReddy SP2 or custom piping and the canister of your choice. Bolt on or get it welded. I opted for bolt on and have no regrets. Great looking canister, stout sound, and quality. Trust or Greddy makes outstanding products.

the 2.5" MAM S/J pipe and the 2.5" MAM catted pipe will fit together nicely. it should bolt up to a Greddy SP2. now, all you have to choose is whether to get stainless steel or mild steel ... :) i guess it depends where you live... stainless would last you a life time... mild steel will be ok too if you live somewhere dry.

How much Louder is the Vibrant than the Greddy SP2? I heard it is very loud? And do the hiflow cats make the car just as loud as without cats? I want a setup that growls but is not loud!

I am selling a 3" turboback exhaust with a cut-out directly below the s-pipe. It's not as pretty as the other ones but it is a great bang for the buck and has proven to flow very well.

Its not louder than a car with no cats. heres some clips i made right after i put it on, it opened up since then and sounds better now, i can get some new video if you want. in my opinion it is deeper/ throatier than the corksport exhaust. i have a video with that one too if you want to check it out, its on my friends speed, no cats.

The vibrant exhaust isn't loud in my opinion. If you really get on the car you can hear it go from louder than stock to loud. Plus it comes with a silencer and if you use it you can't hear anything unless you get on it.

I appreciate your help! If you have any new videos that would be great. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to buy. I don't like the real deap tones. I would like to be able to hold a conversation in the car on the phone or in person. The one in the video sounded pretty loud. Really nice (Not Ricey) but probably to loud for me. Do you have any clips with the silencer on it? Thanks again!

i never have any problems on the phone and i use a hands free set, fine to listen to music too, vibrant doesnt drone at all, my buddy with corksport said the only reason he ditched the rear deck and got bigger subs was b/c his corksport drowned out the bass.

i'll be around a lot of exhausts this thursday, i'll get some videos, tonight i'll do the silencer for ya
