If I'm going to run a header what is the best performance exhaust to put on? Price is not an option I just want top quality and performance.

Its about 250 dollars for the muffler. Then take it to a muffler shop and use 2 1/4 diameter piping for N/A.
2.5 - 3 inch diameter piping for turbo.

Do you know if this will fit to the AWR header, if so do I need a model type, or is this the exhaust HKS makes for the MP3?

I think this is the one pictured above. As spoolin said, HKS is VERY high quality. That muffler should last longer than the car itself.

i was thinking of making a custom apex N1 exaust. do i just need to eliminate the second cat adn the resenator and just have a straight 2 1/4 pipe goin from the header to the muffler or what. and i was just wondering would it sound better than getting the bosal cat back. i have a friend that can mandrel bend pipes for cheap and i have a guy that can get the bosal cat back for cost. he can also get the universal apex N1 muffler for cost. which system would turn out better. sounding and performance wise. thanks!!!

First off nice muffler man I want to do something like that. I have a question isnt the stock piping on the MP3 2.25? and if it is, is it worth having the mandrel bend? My friend owns a mufflershop and could do it. But I live in CA and everything is illegal

Physcho...if you just do a CAT-BACK system...its not illegal...not even in california.....I won't tell you the system you make or put on won't violate any NOISE LAWS....but if you don't remove any of your cats....or sensors....or anything else that actually effects your emmisions.....you will be cool.
