emblem help

ive been wanting paint my emblems for awhile now and just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to do i,tips, techniques etc and also i had a big question about removing them. Are they bolted on or are they all adhevisely glue? any info could help, thanks!

You should find plenty of advice on the subject if you search. The "mazdaspeed" and "3" emblems are just held on with 3M tape. Just use solvent and plastic wire to remove them. (The same is true for the side moldings.) The flying M on the back has some pegs/holes into the door. So yeah there are holes behind it. The front emblem is held on with screws that you can get at from the engine bay.

the way that i painted mine was to first strip them with bleach. i gave them a bleach bath for a few days, prepped them, then painted them with some plastic bonding paint. the chrome doesn't like paint much, but it strips off pretty easy with bleach baths.
