Mine is coming up, maybe I should go ahead and order it. Did you have to drain the coolant or were you just due for a flush?

You need to drain some of it because removing the egrv exposes a coolant jacket. I ended up under the car pulling the lower hose over a large funnel.
I still refuse to believe there was no dedicated drain.

Someone posted an excellent "How-to" on cleaning the EGR for the MS3 on a different forum. Just saying...
