e-check question

Does anyone know if I got a set of headers without the pre-cat, will I still pass the emission? I don't think we r as strict like other states where they open the hood to look at ur car but I would perferly get headers that will pass e-check. Does anyone know or had experience with this yet?

i think that it should be fine, i mean they only thing that they visually check out is to see if there is a cat where it should be under the car. and i got rid of my pre-cat and it did make a difference.

thanks, this will help me make my decision abouth weither I should get the wagner shorty header or other headers that removes the pre cat. thanks
