Dyno #'s Mazdaspeed FMIC

People... so every company is supposed to install and dyno their product and every available competing product? Its a damn intercooler. The point of dynos for IC's are to show pressure drop and how effective it is, by looking at how constant power stayed.

A FMIC does not give you horsepower, it just allows the charge air to be more effectively cooled over long periods of time instead of heatsoaking and increasing charge air temps. </RANT>

The MS FMIC kit looks great and since it requires no cutting and allows for a larger radiator its first on my list if the price is right. Thanks for the pulls ProPartsUSA :)

Like others have said the FMIC is going to be great over the Stock IC and thats the whole point. No ones holding a gun to your head telling you, you have to buy this, if you want to fine it not ok. Why is it on these guys to compare ALL the other FMIC'S, Ion and HiBoost should just sit back and let these guys do all the work?

<<---- must be involved in GB. If you give some pics and it looks good (requires no cutting), and works with the INJEN cai I am betting you can get a group buy of at least 15 with those #s. Thanks for supporting the MSP owners and actually putting up the #s. A lot of vendors don't put up the dynos, that puts you one up on confidence in quality.

Ok people please clear this up for me...I have heard from everyone for forever that Mazdaspeed wasn't going to make s*** else for us. So this IS a Mazdaspeed FMIC? When is it going to be out? What does ProPArts USA have to do with this? Is it a kit or just the core? Will I ever find true love?

yes mazdaspeed is prototyping a FMIC kit, not just a core. Tripoint and other comapnies are testing this prototype and sending their feedback to MS USA. no date as of yet. yes, love is out their, keep fighting the good fight (smoke)

The Pipes are aluminium piping. The kit will also include a new aluminum pipe that will replace the stock plastic piping (Same bends) from the turbo inlet to the maf sensor.

so if it follows all stock paths then injen will fit........although u said in the other thread that injen doesnt fit.....

jeff, correct me if i'm wrong.
