duel exhaust

I've read on some theads that a duel exhaust will decrease power on our little 2.0's. However, I like the look of duel enough to go for it anyways. What would I need to do to make the power loss as little as possible. Would going N/A and just bulking up the engine itself without having to get bigger pipe like a turbo be the best way? Just a guess.

a true dual exhaust system will rob some of your power. but if you just want the look, try to find a single muffler with dual tips that you can have installed.

You can also run a split pipe as far back as possible...just run the regular pipe, then attack another one like a foot back from the tip and bend it over to the other side...my friend has a Focus and did that, no mufflers it doesn't sound bad but it looks badass...if a Focus can ever look badass
