Drone from HELL

I really wanted to be there, but I couldn't tak a half day from work and they weren't up for doing it on a Saturday, but I did ask about it.
I told them no go for the O2 sensor.
Now I have to figure out why the big price spread on the sensors.
Any ideas?
I got the Bosch part #s written down at work, but I haven't had a chance to shop them yet.

Any half decent exhaust shop should have a mig or a tig and even if they don't they should be capable enough to weld a bit better than that !!

because the weld looks ugly does not mean it is not a good weld. some people are crazy not every shop migs or tigs their welds. s*** most exhaust shops do it like that. old school rod welding.

Yeah, I wasn't saying that it didn't have full penetration or cause a leak or anything. It just looks like ass; if you're dropping that much money, they should at least be able to lay a bead better. I've seen rod welds a hell of a lot better looking than that.

Why is your sway bar mounted upside down and through the two lateral links? I had the same loud problem as you because i had the RM header and the high flow cat with a straight through. I was able to switch out the straight through with the msp axleback exhaust with the tip shortened. I'm telling you man the only way you will make that sound good and flow well still is with that muffler

Just post the name of the place at least so no one else needs to suffer (thumb)

You have to get it done properly, using high quality materials by an experienced welder. I paid $1000 for my exhaust system, and it's amazing. And if you are somehow suprised at the sound level of aftermarket exhaust, then you have the wrong hobby.

to clarify you mean the oval tipped racing beat exhaust, right? not the loud round tip one? I have had both and the round racing beat one is awesome, not loud at all and it sounds like a factory tuned exhaust (thumb)

Well, all I really wanted was from the header to the axle-back and I thought that the $200 they estimated me sounded about right. Plus I wanted a bung to relocate the O2 sensor.

As for the sound, I can tell the difference between loud and too ******' loud. By no means was I "surprised" or "have the wrong hobby".(poke)
We're talkin about WAY too loud here not just louder.

For $1000 I hope that your exhaust is amazing...and came with prostitute.

UPDATE
Thanks to Josh (ALTSPACE) and a silencer, the situation has improved.
Volume levels are much more tolerable.
However, now that I've had a closer look at the work done, it's worse then I could see before. *sigh*

nothing worse than being disapointed with something that was supposed to be fun. I recently went back to stock and LOVE it. When i had my P5 i could never find a nice sounding exhaust....
