well was tring to remove my down pipe last night to install my new exhaust and what a ******* pain in the ass it took roughly five hours cause the bolts were rusted solid and pentrating oil didnt help at all than the biggest kick in the ass was that 2 of the bolts snapped in half well for whoever cares im just venting thanks (bang)

Yeah, ouch. No offense but it makes me feel good about my decision to not mess with the downpipe when I read about how much of a b**** it is to install yourself. Good luck, and at least you only broke the bolts and didn't break the O2 sensors, now THAT would really suck.

Its only natural that all the exhaust hardware binds together after X amount of time. The only thing you can really do is use a torch

just went by my friends shop on my lunch break and now were thinking the turbo has to come out he hit it w/ a torch and nothing the bolts wont budge so now were going to drill them out and re tap the screw holes hopefully well have that done by tonight

yeah this just keeps getting better and better hope the reward of all this work is worth it

Its like a woman. Sure, some hard work now will have great initial benefits, but over time stuff is just gonna go down hill. And its inevitable, there will always be a newer and better model with more of what you're looking for
