Do people do a double take when you pass in your Speed?

I've found rolling my back windows down is a good way to entertain SRT-4 drivers. I've had a couple of civic drivers double take and one even try to race me (lol) The best is other Mazda 3 owners, they seem to know a speed 3 when they see one unlike the general public.

hay has any one ran against an srt-4 ive driven both but havnt beenable to campare the but then you get into the fact that srts have beenout longer and more aftermarket parts are out and out there 2nd hand cheep. so no garente that it was bone stock. i guess i should ask what are 1/4 mile time and traps are beacuse ive taken a stock srt down the 1/4 in 13.92 at 102.

Well this Mazda 3 (sedan) today thought he would be slick and try and gas past me on the freeway...I popped it back into 3rd and you should have seen his face when I flew by!

I think I should find a way of getting the Mazdaspeed logo in lights. Find a way to have it controlled from the dash so when someone gets burned I can light it up so they know not to do it again.

(wow)

USAFdude02, good idea LOL.

I hate to be a sleeper, Im an attention *****, but not to the point of an STI either. I never get raced by mazdas except this one time I was following on this mazda3 hatch that had exhaust, HIDs (and other unknown mods) and decided to pass him and he punched it cuz he saw me coming next to him, maybe he thought i was another car about to do a ricer fly by on him...but i dont think he knew I had a mazda6 cuz it was night time and i didnt get to pull beside him before he punched it...he knew after I passed him though LOL.

The other day I was at the dealer, I was talking to the service manager next to my parked car for about 20 minutes about the service I need to do to the car etc etc, when he hits the topic of rotating the tyres, I said I rotate them myself and then he says "yes, because this car is FWD, and you have to rotate them constantly..." I was in shock...not even the service manager knew what car it was. Can the hood buldge be any fckin bigger on the MS6? Oh well.

I feel just the opposite. I like that it doesn't look like anything special. I don't need to attract any extra attention from cops or robbers, you know? I'm still hoping to get a Speed3, and I'm thinking real hard about the Silver, 'cause no one would ever notice it whipping along on the highway above the limit! I'd also probably debadge mine, so no one sees any reason to break into it, either!

Of course, if they do a white one in the States, I'll probably go for that over silver, but it would still be pretty subtle.
Yeah, that's what I like too. I've noticed that I've been getting much less attention from cops too. A cop was going the other direction day and I went by going 30 over + and he didn't even look. Maybe he was busy, but I know in my old sports coupe style car, that would have been a ticket.
