Here you go, copied from a skyline site, confirms a story told to me by a good friend into Nissan's and Z cars.
The disco portion:
They nicknamed it the disco potato, long story short, because Garrett made a custom gt28rs for a early 90's Sentra awhile back. This Sentra had some sort of "chameleon" paint job or something that was a mix of purple, gold etc. Basically it had a "disco" look to it, though I don't remember the potato part. I believe it was some guys at Nissan in a certain division, that had a friend at Garrett. They got their friend to make this custom gt28rs for the Sentra, and it's said they used that Sentra for changing the minds of the executives when they might have felt like killing off a Nissan sports car or anything else along those lines. They'd take them for a ride in the "disco potato" and scare the crap out of them!
They had the whole story in SCC years ago.
