Disco Potato MSP up and Running!

Wow, that is so pimp man. I can't belive you ripped apart your 03.5 like that.....lol.

Is your warrenty voided?;)

He puts a lot of miles on his car. The warranty maybe already up.

Congrats, Jared. That's quite a list. If that's not the nicest MSP on the site, it's definately the sickest 2003.5! (rockon)

nice work jared, can't wait till it hits the dyno, as for warr. stuff we have a way around that...lol

damn I am jealous also :D good work man can't wait to see the dyno results

very very nice... i love that Turbo... its such a awesome response machine! :D

looking foward to seeing the dyno #'s

Heh heh, thanks for all the commments guys.

I slept as long as I could and went straight to work where I had meetings and what not. Gotta pay for all these parts ya know. ;) You sleep so good after pulling a 23 hour day on only 3 hours sleep.

I have several pictures, I just need to get them all organized and posted... I will get them up in time.

Dyno tuning and dyno numbers will be done by the end of the month. I'll post them here when we get them.

Warranty? What's a warranty? My warranty was gone a long time ago... (rofl) Besides that, I'll have 50,000 miles on my car by the end of this year or early next year in all likelyhood.

nice...wanna drop by a meet in so cal sometime and give some of us a ride :)
I'll make it downt there sometime. Whenever I am in So-Cal I am always so busy with whatever it is I am down there for I never have time for the extra curriculur activities.

take that thing to the drag strip asap! i want to see what you are working with.
I plan on taking it to the strip when it's tuned, but I can't drive and I have 150-200lbs stereo equipment in the trunk so my times won't be as good as they could be. I have never dragged my car before so my launching technique sucks.

Who made the map for you? Was this one of juans maps for the e6x? like the P4403 map or something?

Are you running the 3 bar map sensor?

Honestly, how hard does the car pull?! lol
We started with a base map from the hi-boost P5, but it needs a lot of work because of my walbro fuel pump, it's running fairly rich while cruising right now. We did some street tuning and the car is running very well, but dyno tuning will help quite a bit.

Yes I am running the 3 bar map sensor

Honestly, the car pulls so freaking hard, I still can't believe it's my car. I love it I love it I love it.

Outstanding job. Can't wait to see track results. Hopefully, you can get some better gas for the runs then that CA piss water 91 octane crap. The engine needs some juice to bring it to life. Your tuners did a good job handling the octane situation.
Juan is amazing. At some point I will have the 2nd map tuned for high octane fuel and upped boost (20-22psi), but I don't think that is in the cards for this time around.

wow

(cool)

1 question-how is the trans going to handle that kind of power?

wow again.

****** A!!!! Your setup rocks! Props for not giving up on your speed. So many others want to just drop for another vehicle. You're giving a lot of us hope. BTW, were you on 101 in south san ho around 10:30ish. Think I saw ya.

We'll find out won't we? he he

One thing I am doing to protect it is using a street disc instead of a 4 or 6 puck design clutch... and I generally baby the transmission so I think it will hold, but if not we'll have to figure something out.

Thanks for the comments.

That would have been me... driving quickly to get to work by my 11:00 meeting... (rofl)

Congrats on the mods. That sounds like it's going to be a very impressive machine. Happy tuning and I can't wait to see the numbers.
