I'll make it downt there sometime. Whenever I am in So-Cal I am always so busy with whatever it is I am down there for I never have time for the extra curriculur activities.jflo said:nice...wanna drop by a meet in so cal sometime and give some of us a ride![]()
I plan on taking it to the strip when it's tuned, but I can't drive and I have 150-200lbs stereo equipment in the trunk so my times won't be as good as they could be. I have never dragged my car before so my launching technique sucks.mp5jeff said:take that thing to the drag strip asap! i want to see what you are working with.
We started with a base map from the hi-boost P5, but it needs a lot of work because of my walbro fuel pump, it's running fairly rich while cruising right now. We did some street tuning and the car is running very well, but dyno tuning will help quite a bit.azian6er said:Who made the map for you? Was this one of juans maps for the e6x? like the P4403 map or something?
Are you running the 3 bar map sensor?
Honestly, how hard does the car pull?! lol
Juan is amazing. At some point I will have the 2nd map tuned for high octane fuel and upped boost (20-22psi), but I don't think that is in the cards for this time around.DAWIV said:Outstanding job. Can't wait to see track results. Hopefully, you can get some better gas for the runs then that CA piss water 91 octane crap. The engine needs some juice to bring it to life. Your tuners did a good job handling the octane situation.
We'll find out won't we? he hejeffmsp said:wow

1 question-how is the trans going to handle that kind of power?
wow again.
Thanks for the comments.ND4MSP said:****** A!!!! Your setup rocks! Props for not giving up on your speed. So many others want to just drop for another vehicle. You're giving a lot of us hope. BTW, were you on 101 in south san ho around 10:30ish. Think I saw ya.
