Quick cell phone pics of my brakes. Used G2 caliper paint.

always a clean look with the black. IMO i think you should have done the "mazdaspeed" in red:D

Just cleans them up SO nice. I had those caliper stickers (stuck on well) but when I went to touch up my calipers I ended up getting paint all over them so I said screw it and away they went. Look awesome though! Also, I didnt bother to tape up my rotor, first time you hit the brakes the paint is gone.

I have the paint kit in Black with silver Mazdaspeed decals waiting for a nice warm weekend and I'll be doing the brakes. Question? The decals I have want to stick to the card board and not the clear film. I used some on another project and would like to know how you got yours off cleanly.

Hade the same problem with mine that I ordered from vinzdecals. I used a sharp knife, razor blade would work too. As you pull the film up slowly, just get your blade/razor underneath the corners of the letters, once that first little bit is off the cardboard it's usually smooth sailing. If not, all you need to do is keep lightly lifting the letters up off the cardboard and have them make contact with the film, that usually does the trick. hope it helps.

If we paint the clips with thick G2 paint, wouldn't they be hard to remove when changing pads? Couldn't this also chip the paint? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'll be painting mine this weekend and want to make sure.
