I just don't see it being worth it. The benefits you get for the $1600 doesn't seem like that great of a deal.

Yeah, I was interested when it had the radar cruise control, but when that came out of the package, completely lost interest.

The radar cruise will be added just not til next month or so but the price will go up for the tech pack as well.

Exactly. At $1600 it's not worth it without the radar cruise, at least for me. And the radar cruise isn't worth more than $1600 to me either.

Nope... I also do not see the value in it. My SGT is fully loaded except for that.

Since when was this removed? I ordered a GT with the tech package assuming it had the Adaptive Cruise Control. On the main 2014 Mazda 3 page if you scroll down through the pictures and info you come to the safety slide and the first of 8 is listed as adaptive cruise control?? I drive in an area with a good bit of traffic and adaptive cruise control is a must for me!

It wasn't ready so its been delayed. They probably just forgot to remove that portion on the site. I been hearing mixed rumors. Some say its going to raise the price, others say that the tech is actually included in the tech package but is not active yet in the software on the car. So right now everything is just hearsay.

Mazda updated the specification at the end of August. According to my dealer there was orgianally a 2TE tech package that didn't inlude FOW or MRCC, apparently they were not ready. The 2TE package was manufactured from June - Sept. Now there is a 3TE package that includes the FOW and MRCC and should be manufactured late OCT, there is also a Moonroof package for the i-touring models. But not for the s-touring models. Mazda has released the updated pricing yet they didn't know if there would be cost increase. I have a Soul Red with Black interior plus the tech package on order. Hopefully I'll get it by the end of the year.

If buying the iTouring I think it's worth it but for a little more you can get the iGrand Touring with all the benefits of the tech package and a few extra goodies, ie: heated seats, power drivers seat w/memory etc.

There are only two things on that list that I would be moderately interested in: i-ELOOP and active grill shutters (which my 2012 Focus has) for a bit better gas mileage. I absolutely DO NOT want radar cruise control.

So If I ordered a car a couple week ago it probably isn't being built until the end of October.. does that mean it should have the adaptive cruise control?? This seems so odd that Mazda would screw things up like this with its big release.

" heated seats, power drivers seat w/memory etc. "

No, sir. I don't see any memory function for the power seat....

I like the ideas of active grille shutter and I-ELOOP, but don't want the rest.

So I asked my dealer if the car I ordered had the 3TE option selected, he said that it indeed was ordered with that option, so it sounds like my car will be coming with it. According to the pdf in post 9, the 3TE package does include it... "i-ELOOP regenerative engine braking system, active grille shutters, High Beam Control, Lane Departure Warning System, Smart City Brake Support, Mazda Radar Cruise Control, Forward Obstruction Warning"

(gah) You are right. Meant to say the manual lumbar support but had memory function on the mind. With the girl child driving the cars all the time now, I've got to adjust the seat everytime I get behind the wheel and if I forget before getting in my knees hit the steering column.

Not sure, havent heard any detail regarding pricing, woulsnt be surprised if its around $2400.

The Technology Package is worth it for two reasons. First, the base sound system is merely adequate. I'm guessing the Bose 9 speaker system is much better. Also, I do love my M3 but my least favorite thing about it is trying to see out of the tiny rear window when backing up, so the video camera might also be a good addition.
