DG Motorsports CF Roof Rack Filler Strips (not installed yet)

its true, some of their retail stuff sucks, you can read my post about the front dam and the interior pieces. My spoiler sucks, and since its bright yellow you can see all the gaps and scratches its done. The interior pieces have spots and air bubbles in the clear or resin. Unfortunately no one else make s*** for our cars, so be it.

so if they 'compensate' you, you'll still buy their products, but if they don't you won't? hmm...

DG = PEACE OF s***!!!! i have their c/f wing, c/f lip and even had my buddies hood on for a little while. the vis hood i just bought has better fit and better looking weave for half the money!
the dg wing i got came with some small marks and bubbles on the clear. the lip i bought was uesd so i cant really comment on the c/f quality, but the fitment is s*** on it.....GAPS!!!
DG = OVERPRICED

sorry to here about this s*** matthew. i guess they dont give a s*** because there the only one's that make all the dope part's for us!

thats the biggest point....history shows that whenever there is a monopoly on a product the quality of that product will drop. DGM makes the only nice looking products for our car, and therefore we have no choice. Hopefully another company will look at this situation and jump on the opportunity to make good products for our P5's....
i have their downforcers and i was goin to order some more stuff but im skeptical now....
Matt forward this thread to DGM......

they are closed of course. :wtf: i hate more than anything when either:

A) you cant get a hold of a company period
B) they have a voice mail or whatever and never return phone calls.

i bet if i would have emailed that i wanted to buy all their cf products for my protege they would have emailed me and called me asap.

sooooooooooooo true! im working on getting some vendors to start up on some hi quality parts at realistic price's:D

like i said, im going to give them a chance to

- explain
- apologize
- compensate me, whether it be by getting me what vic suggested or i suggested, or giving me a refund promptly, including costs of shipping it back to them.

should they fail in any of these respects (since im already pissed they couldnt do something simple like write a one sentance email saying "we got your email, were talking to the owner to come up with a solution" or even drop me a call), ill make sure everyone on this board knows about their customer service and product quality.

if im satisfied, i still havent decided whether or not ill ever buy from them again, but at the very least i can say they handled it well. however, like i said, i cant stand when people cant even call back.

Ask them to compensate me for their bad products and make me those CF pieces I wanted. I did have to go through the trouble of a how-to after all. :D

lol. for about 90 bucks you can get them, though i wouldnt want a custom job like that. im not even sure about their mass produced s*** now.

I can lay glass... CF can't be much harder; can it?

I've got a guy 20 mins away that supplies CF and Glass products. They're decent prices, and I wanted to do a complete CF interior in my Pinto anyways :D

Im really upset at what happened to you. An di fyou plan on boycotting them, I'm all for it. Unofrtunately, they won't really suffer from our boycott. DG is basically a company that hooks up other rides(I hope this makes sense). They get cars from Mazda and Ford to hook up for show. They really don't make their money from us. If you notice, on their page the Protege probably has the most parts available, but if you call they are not in stock. They were planning on just dropping every product except the CF hood for the Protege, but I don't know what happened. They area real small company but with big ties. As far as VIS, they hoods are cheap because they are not hand made. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they come from Taiwan, but yes they are at a cheaper price. Anyway I hope you can fix this situation Matthew and If you do decide to boycott, I will support you and help you get what you want.

As far as the strips not fitting. Remember when I told you I had asked while back about them? Well back then Jason was not there, it was another guy named Chris who had been with DG for over 10 yrs. He took the rubber pieces off the P5 an dthem made a mold, the mold was then disposed of because they didn't think anyone would ask for them anymore. So I think what they did this time was just guesstimate on length width etc.

well thanks. i guess this would be another company that doesnt give a s*** then. and obviously totally dishonest as they told me the mold was in storage or somewhere else. so they had to lie because what the hell would that mold fit lol
