Does anyone have some pictures of the Defi gauges installed on there Msp. I am heavily considering ordering a few or buying the pod that inserts underneath the cd player. Pictures of the pod underneath the cd player would be great

Here's my old setup.

Insidious did you make the gauge mount below the stereo or did you purchase it somewhere? I had always assumed those were custom jobs. But now I am wondering if I am missing out on a far better way to mount than the pillar pod.

Does it take a lot to install. As that i mean do you have to take your dash apart to get that flip piece out and does this one bolt in slide in or like glue in

It's pretty easy. You can reach from the back and undo the two clips that hold the pocket in. As for the DIN panel, it doesn't need any adhesive. It's a perfect snug fit.

InsidiousMSP - Why is this your OLD set up? What did you change? I think it looks bad ass.

Sold the gauges. Plan to sell the car. They were pretty nice gauges, but the next ones I buy will be the Defi Link Meter.

"Plan to sell the car"

How come, What you gettin'?

I don't like the A piller deal. They stick out and they are not in your line of site.

That will be cool. I drove a sc300 5 speed once. Smooth as hell. Kinda heavy though and not that tight cornering feel though...cause that's not what it was supposed to be. Killer ride though, nice power. Solid as a tank.

Dang both pictures like really sweet. Thanks guys for the pictures and details about them. I am leaning toward the three pod underneath the cd player with some blitz gauges

They feel heavy, but they're actually no heavier than a Supra. My main goal is to have a nice daily driver with some power available when I want it. And it's hard to beat the potential a 2JZ-GTE can give you. :)

Very true, very nice reliable solid engine, lots of potential.

Yea the space under the radio is way sweet like that with those 3 gauges. Those defi gauges are $$$ though. :(
