Dealer slam (houston)

WTF does that have to do with all this? that dealer was clearly ripping people off... "market adjustment" I understand, but the "protection" s***, leather, and wheels? WTF

dont get me wrong i feel thats price goudging and paying for parts twice is s*** i would walk away. but you know there is some one out there that will pay that, generaly some 18 year old that just has to have that. its sad but true.

The few MS3's that have gone through Mazda of Clear Lake have sold rather quickly. When i stopped by to check out one of them, they had a dealer mark-up of $2500. No "special" installs or protection, just a straight dealer mark-up. Although the area over here does have money, i dont see how anyone would pay that extra fee.....

Didn't you used to have a P5? I think I met you a while ago in Pasadena.

typical of that dealer, I find them to be incompetent crooks.
I went there for an oil change a couple of years ago and they neglected to tighten the sump plug.

Got my wifes cx7 from jeff hass in houston where our sales man warned us of dealer tactics adding the cost of fictitious extras to the window sticker. Best salesman i ever met, he didnt care if he sold a car or not, needless to say he doesnt sell cars anymore.

Yes i did, it was a silver Protege5. I remember seeing a blue P5 w/ dark wheels a couple times back in the day, not sure if that was you though.

That was probably me. Mine was lowered and I had msp wheels on it.

i got my ms3 from expo mazda. got it a couple bills over invoice

mazda of clear lake wouldnt even talk to me when i told them how much i wanted to pay

Apparently they are the best selling dealer in Houston. Sad that consumers are that dumb.

I got mine from Jeff Haas. They're family owned and something about visiting there is like going in a library - everyone's nice and talks softly.

Joe Myers wanted to charge me $500 over sticker and insisted that was the best deal I'd get in the area. Funny - that was the WORST deal! I love how they hope you won't do your research.

The sales man felt he had to sell himself to me and prove his worth. If you have to blatantly explain why you're the best, then you're not. He also went ahead and transfered a black mica MS3 to his lot for me when I told him I was still thinking about it. I hate pushy people.

Yeah I remember Jeff Hass when the Protege5 came out, they took a yellow one and put stickers up the side that looked cheezy as hell, then put yellow and black leather interior in it. They tried to sell that thing for 30k, I'm serious. :<

DUDE! I remember your car too! Is this old homey week?

News: Picked up a Cosmic Blue MS3 last tuesday. Went to Expo as nobody else had a sport in stock. I lub it.

We'll see how long I can resist teh mod bug!

I just asked for an online quote, and Joe Myers told me it would be 24,000 plus for the Sport model. What a joke. He also threw in that "unlike other dealers in houston, we actually have some in stock" Which is complete crap, there are about 14 ms3s throughout the houston area based on what the search inventory feature on mazdas website says.

CRAZZYYY.
