Hey guys, I was hoping to obtain some additional data during a dyno run I did today on my MS3 - thus I bought a dashhawk. As I went into work this morning, I verified that I could record data, download and analyze it using the new 2.5 software you can get from MSD for the dashhawk - all went well. Was able to analyze the data, everything - no issues.
I went to the dyno shop today, I did a datalog during each of my two dyno runs so I could post AFR and boost along with hp and torque from the dyno. I figured this would be useful to many of us here. However, when I plugged the dashhawk into my computer I got the following message on the dashhawk: "The VIN was not found. Make sure the key is turned to the on position." I plugged the unit back into my MS3 and turned on my car and it worked fine recording the normal stuff (RPM, boost, AFR, etc.). I again brought the unit back into my house to attempt to download the datalogs and got the same error message. I uninstalled the 2.5 software on the computer and reinstalled, but to no avail. Has anyone had this issue? If so, how did they fix? Thanks in advance.
