What in gods name are you talking about? I just warned you to not launch your car because the LSD is not strong.

Hmmm...well another day I learned something. So a sway bar is not a good thing? Or are you saying it I need a special one?

Well in order for you to have a front sway bar, you have to have a mazdaspeed protege. Front sway bars are good, they improve handling. If you have an MSP then you have a clutch because it is a manual car.

uuuh, dont the conevtionnal prot have sway bars in front? i think they do??

All have front and rear sways and front strutbar!

All cars that I know of have front and rear sways even minivans! Strutbars not all!

Shane is right on this guys. MSPs have thicker sway bars, but nearly every car ever made has some type of front and rear sway bar.

yeah i thought so coze my Gf's ex 99 prot had some.. and it was a DX 1.6 of course they were smaller but it still had a good handling

my 91 civic hatch CX( as cheap as they get) didn't have a front sway..dunno if the previous owner took it off or maybe it didin't come with it

I have an automatic. A manual would be nice though because they are fun to drive. But, back to topic, sort of, I couldn't tell you what type of Protege 5 I have. All I know is that I love it. I rarely punch it from a dead stop. When I bought it, the dealer said that is the quickest way to get it back in the shop. When my son started driving it about 4 months ago, I noticed the front end problems appearing. Since replacing the sway bar, no more front end racket over bumps.

Grab the front and rear mounts and the Pedder's poly control arm bushings. That'll kill all wheel hop.
