everywhere i look they say for mazda protege. so my question is do protoges have the same layout as speeds, (strut towers, layout etc...)
and are they worth the money??

a couple of my friends run them on their cars and loves them not to stiff. My one buddy has them on his rsx for the past 4 years and is daily driving still look good

For the 1k mark you are pretty much getting the same performance no matter what you buy. BC/K-Sport/D2/XYZ/YellowSpeed from what I've heard (obviously speculation) they all come out of the same factory in Asia. None of them are independently dyno proven to be good at what they do. Meaning the 50 million adjustability settings don't mean a lot. Again speculation but there really isn't alot of info out there to prove otherwise.

um coilovers being dyno proven......(shrug) that doesnt even make sense.

I would get the tein basic coilovers from eBay. I see them for $800-1K all the time. I got my super streets lightly used for under $600 but all the adjustments are only nessicary if you are going to be track driving the car. The only real issue is that you have to re use your stock strut mounts/bearings with the tein kit. BC comes with pillowball mounts and camber plates for the front. Alot of people go with bc... I am just a tein *****... LOL...
