Be wary they might have looked at the address on your insurance to see what they can rob later.

That's a good point, which is one reason I don't keep any documents in the glove box. Only thing in there is the owners manual. I keep those documents in my wallet.

Well finally got my Cx-5 back from the shop. Total of $14,863 in repairs. Still don't get why they didn't total it...

Well that kinda sucks! Which tire blew out and what kind of tires did you have?

I only ask because it seems blowouts are quite rare anymore. The TPMS didn't alert?

Fail on my part. Sorry everyone just realized I wasn't in the what did you do... thread but too late now. Haha I'm on hour 14 of a 16 hour work day not including travel time. Will post the pics later. But long story short right rear blew out on me on an interstate in a rain storm causing me to go into a concrete barrier... Sadly the TPMS did, but only after/as it blew out. And yea first time ever for me. I had it patched like an idiot not to long ago, because I had a flat and didn't have the money at the time for a new tire. Which still can't figure it out because never showed usual indications of sidewall bubble or anything. Ironically was going to order the tires that night once I got home from work. :/

When you mentioned a patched tire, did you mean a "patch-n-plug"? That is a patch with a built in plug, which is an OEM approved method to repair a tire. Also, you mention "sidewall bubble". Was the patch near the sidewall? A repair near the sidewall can be dangerous and is not approved by tire repair experts. But, a proper patch-n-plug correctly installed should last the life of a tire without weakening it[emoji106]

Sorry to her about that window.
I have seen at a store, that after closing they leave the cashier drawer pulled out all the way, course empty.
From now on, you should leave open the glove box and the arm rest.

We have vacationed at the Atlantic beach area in North Carolina just south of Cape Hatteras. We love the Outer Banks.

New posting to the forum, but I have been reading here for about 6 months. I just picked up a new 2016 GT w/tech a couple of weeks ago and am loving it.

I am in the middle of moving from Atlantic Beach, NC, to Norfolk, VA area. Next time you visit AB, be sure to check out Fort Macon State Park. I was a Ranger there but am transferring up here for wife's new job. At least I am still close to Outer Banks, at only about an hour away.

I'll get some good photos of the new Mazda posted soon.

Damn....hate to see this happen when there is a perfectly good garage. Do you have an attic or shed?

Picked her up last Thursday. It is a 2.2 diesel engine. Really loving the torque, perfect for shifting the family around....:D

Wheel spacers on order. The wheels are too sunken in to my liking.

We've been to Fort Macon State Park several times. I enjoyed my time there. We've been vacationing in the Outer Banks for more than thirty years now. Do you remember Squatter's Restaurant? What is the best restaurant in that area now? We are thinking about going back next year.

Looks very sinister in black!!

If you don't mind me asking, which spacers did you go with (brand and thickness)?

Hit some trails up at Lake Tahoe today, good times....
Whoa... I thought you're busy to resolve paddle shifter issues! Not knowing you're having a good time at Lake Tahoe! Unfortunately we're having 101F here according to exaggerated CX-5 outside temperature reading. Too hot to go anywhere for Labor Day weekend.
