CX-5 fuel gauge stuck on Full

I have a 2014 CX-5 Touring with about 2,500 miles on it. Earlier this week I filled it with gas as normal. So far, I have driven about 75 miles and the fuel gauge has not moved off of completely full. I like the gas mileage so far, but I don't think its that good!

Anyone else had this issue? Wonder if the gauge will catch up with fuel use at some point. Miles To Go reading is still working, so I can get a good guess for how much fuel is actually in the tank. thanks

You just noticed this after 2500 miles?? Very normal.

It would be educational to attach an OBD port reader and watch the ECU fuel level. On mine, the ECU reports 92-93% full after a full fill-up (fill until auto stop, wait 5 seconds, fill until auto stop.) It STAYS at 92% for at least 50 miles or so (depending on the weather, angle of the vehicle, etc.) That leads me to believe that the car's computer and fuel gauge are unable to read values higher than 93%, and so normalizes 93% to be "full."
