Well guys, I decided that last weekend I was going custom on this intercooler setup. So here GOES..........The first thing that we had to do was to mount the Spearco Core.... We then decided to work on the bumper, and cut it down for the custom pipe install. When you look at the setup, you might ask yourself, where the hell is the blow off valve. Well, its welded onto a piece of steel about 14 inches long in front of the bumper. So now it blows off from the front of the car. The next thing was the right side pipe, which we decided instead of going through the side of the fender, we would go around the fender and through the hole for the intake. That left for a custom ass intake, with new fabbed three inch piping. Then we had to solve the problem of cutting the front bumper, which was grinded and sanded down. The next thing that was fabricated was a brand new metal plate to cover the secondary fan that was gone to keep the same cfm comin in on both sides... AND also a new bracket to hold the radiator. So two days and a hell of a lot of fabrication later, here's wat we got.
1. New plate for secondary fan
2. Rerouted blowoff valve lines, and maf
3. Custom Intake
4. New mounting bracket for radiator
5. Welded blow off valve in front of grill. (BTW--hella loud now)
6. Custom Intercooler Setup, with spearco core
7. Rerouted pipes through intake hole
