Is that from the Acura TL?

That particular one was from a Honda Pilot.

Huh? V6 and SOHC? Or are you talking about the D15 and D16 in the previous pics?

Those are some pretty sweet swaps though. Have any links to your builds?

The D15, D16 and the J blocks are all SOHC- the J35 is a SOHC setup with one cam per head as said before. All the SOHC VTEC setups up until recently only have VTEC on the intake "side" of the cam. A few of the newer J37 engines have SOHC setups AND VTEC on both "sides" of the cam. I haven't peeked inside to see exactly how the valvetrain is set up, but I assume there are 6 lobes per cylinder (or maybe just 4).

No detailed links to builds- kinda secret for now on the J swap. The white Civic sedan I can post up later, but the last public build thread for it was back in 2001- everything afterwards was experimental hardware (under wraps :) ).

How does that thing run with all of those unplugged connectors, the crimped clear line, and the tape over the nipple on the intake elbow? Am I missing anything else?

Stand alone means half of those sensors are no longer used.

And yeah, if you want to keep nitpicking, there's no more EGR line, the power steering belt is missing 1/4 of its width, the wires going to the relays on the filter box aren't perfectly straight, the throttle body gasket has a slight leak at the top, and the weather stripping across the back of the firewall keeps falling off.
