I've been monitoring my 4 local dealers' inventories for this color combo since before the '15 model started being stocked. It seems like no one stocks this color combo in either last years or this years model. I see several white/sand. I would have thought white/black was a pretty desirable color combo, am I incorrect?

I used Autotrader.com to search for 2015 models. Mazda still doesn't know the 15's exist... If you find one at another dealer, usually the local dealers can swap cars. It does seem to be a weird situation at the moment, as the 14's are selling off, but there really aren't a lot of 15's around yet...

Good luck!

I have that combo and I had to get it 4 hours away from my house. It's worth it though. :)

Where is "nowhere".

Not difficult to find in California, hopefully it will become more plentiful in your area. It was my one and only color combo choice when I bought my GT.

i'm looking for that combo, too. they are out there. none in my area, yet, but the 2015s are just now arriving.

Go ahead and buy a one-way plane ticket. That plus the drive back will still be $12K less than a brand new BMW X128i with all available features a CX-5 GT has.

I'll sell somebody my Grand Touring with this color combo. Six thousand miles. How's $27K sound?

At the end of February, I bought a black mica GT with sand leather. Was told by 2 dealerships that it would be impossible to find. The dealership I did my deal at (they gave me over 4K off....blew the other dealerships right of the water in terms of price and overall service)...did a search while I was signing the deal and told me there were only 3 in all of Canada...1 of which was sold that morning.....so I got the 2nd last one. Turns out they had it put on rail from Mazda's main yard in Vancouver...and sent it across Canada to Toronto for me. I took delivery 10 days after signing the deal. I was blown away that they were able to get their hands on the vehicle and have it railed in from that distance. Sucker had 4 kms on it when I took delivery.

Dealerships can do country wide searches and they can get a vehicle in from the other side of the country.

Good luck with your search (don't give up).

Bon

I couldn't find the exact model/color/options I wanted either so I just ordered one equipped how I wanted it. Yeah, it took around 4 months but I didn't have to open the checkbook until it arrived and I got exactly what I wanted without having to pay for options that were of no use to me.

Have you used the Mazda site to search?
You can set search radius up to 250 miles of your city.

Did this with a previous car and got exactly what I wanted. Just got a one way car rental, drove 250 miles, and had the dealer help me drop off the rental at local office, and drove home my new car.

We have this colour combo! Its lovely!

Thanks for the replies folks. Autotrader.com is a good suggestion, I forgot about that site. Mazda's own website does not yet let One search for 2015 model year, so I've been using local dealer's individual websites. I'm not sure why I'm so set on white. When I first started thinking of getting a new car I told myself I'd definitely get a silver one because they never look dirty. My current car is black. I was a sucker when I saw it all clean and shiny on the lot, now maybe I'm falling for the same trick with a white one... I definitely don't want a sand interior, I know not would look gross after a year. :)

Not sure what the roads look like in Nowhere, but I'd recommend mudguards. See if they can toss them in at delivery. I have generic ones on order and am getting mud splashed all the way up to the windows just from hitting regular old puddles.

i've read the tan leather is very difficult to keep clean. blue jeans leave visable marks on it.

i had a black car once. never again. never. did i mention i'd never have a black car again? i won't. ever.

When I got mine six months ago, I had the opposite problem. White w/black interior was easy to find but they had to track down a white w/sand interior for me.

According to their website, my local dealership has 3 white w/black interior in stock right now. I am in the greater Chicagoland area. Let me know if you want the dealer's info.

I've seen a number of available White w/ Black at Oregon dealers. I haven't seen very many white w/ tan CX-5s.
