Cry02 Intercooler sprayer

what do you guys think about this? Since it vents the c02 onto the intercooler and it makes the air passing through cooler do you think it would set off the FCD?

No, because the FCD goes off the MAF sensor, and the intercooler charge comes after that...from what I understand the only thing fuel cut is engaged from is the MAF readings, right?

ok i see what you guys are saying, i dont have alot of turbo experience, do you guys think that this would have noticable preformance gains when used with a fmic. i know it should but but you never know

Yes. Someone here fabricated a CO2 sprayer and his 1/4 mile time improved by 0.5 seconds (1st run no spray, 2nd run spray)

sweet im saving for the fmic now, but first im doing complete exhaust then we can work on getting more air in. i think having a c02 sprayer is going to look sick with a fmic

Yes it would look awesome. You may even want to look into doing it with NO2 instead of CO2...nitrous is colder than CO2.

I wouldn't want to do a NO2 spray with the stock intercooler...too close to the intake...but with a FMIC it would be fine.

ya i was considering no2 also but im going to do some reseach and find out what is easyer to get where i live, the spray is going to look basicly the same right? or would the no2 give off more of a mist, and i think no2 costs more then co2

wowyou guys pay $50 for a fill up??? I'm in the wrong business. It's $2.90 per lb here....equals (do the math) $29 per 10lb bottle.

CO2 is cheaper but the only place I know that fills CO2 is a welding supply shop. NOt too easy to come across.....just food for thought.

You can also go to almost any paintball field or paintball or airgun store for CO2. Lots of those around here.

Keep in mind Matty most of us live in the city and can't get moonshine NAAWWWZ like you can in the sticks. It's around 40 bucks to fill a ten # bottle around here.
