was probably going about 35-40mph, went to press the brakes to slow down for a bend, and the car just slid, LUCKILY this is the only damage,

this could've been a lot lot worse, everybody please, drive carefully and make sure you're home with your families for Christmas and new year.

Glad you're safe man. Hopefully insurance will replace your bumper (so you can send me your broken one!) and get you back on the road quickly.

Cars fine! In full working condition, everything seems to be fine, was pretty dark and it still isn't morning yet so can't have a decent look, gona get it on the ramps tomorrow see what I can see, went to a buy time jet wash and blasted the mud off my car, was well and truly stuck, took 3 of us to push and drive it out, wheels span like hell and the clutch didn't half take a beating, good thing I was planning on a new one in the new year, seems that only a bumper clip is snapped. Should be an easy fix, famous last word SHOULD, will knock up a temp fix tomorrow push it back into position and clip it into place!

Bummer.... gutted you did an off...

Glad your all OK & the car is repairable....

Thanks everybody! Worst done was the massive amounts of mud under the chassis, down the side of the car and inside, dunno weather or not it's worked it's way through the air con systems and through the windows while trying to get out

Yeah on the damage being minor, bummer on the mud in the vents. Pop the cowling plastics off and you should be able to see if it made it in the air intake for the car.

Sometime next week I'll give it a decent clean, get rid of as much mud, twigs, leaves etc, let's hope I find nothing smashed/damaged!
